The Lab Management application is a collaborative effort between The Office of Research, Innovation and Economic Development (ORI), Office of Information Technology (OIT), and five Core Facilities to create a comprehensive management system that will automate billings, enhance equipment scheduling, enforce training, and add many additional efficiencies to the laboratories.

The application was built using the Mendix cloud application platform.  This platform allowed NC State to build and deliver the cloud-based Lab Management application to the exact needs of both the university and lab managers.
