About Lab Management
What is Lab Management?
Lab Management is a collaborative achievement between The Office of Research, Innovation and Economic Development (ORI), Office of Information Technology (OIT), and five Core Facilities to create a comprehensive system that will automate billings, enhance equipment scheduling, enforce training, and add many additional efficiencies to the laboratories.

Elements of Lab Management
Lab Management enables users to
- Request lab services
- Schedule equipment time
- View and manage orders, billing history, and service requests
- Request and manage lab agreements
- View and request facility training
- Users can create reservations for all facility services from the same menu
- Lab agreements can be adjusted by service end date and the amount of funds allocated for each order
